🍔 Some of My Favorite Takeaways from the Episode
The distribution of your content needs be baked into the structure and type of audio, video, images or text you produce. If you think about the promotional aspects before you create the piece, you’ll have a much easier time getting it in front of people in a format that makes sense for each specific channel.
User research should inform most of the content that you produce. Keyword search is one thing, but actually talking to users to understanding what challenges they face (and then go write about those) is in a whole other ballpark.
Being honest about what you are good at and where your weaknesses lie will make you a better leader. This makes you more effective at delegating, automating and outsourcing your tasks, because you know where you can (and should) add value and where you are not needed (and therefore knowing where you shouldn’t poop your opinion into every conversation 💩).
Okay that last bit was added by me.
